Cloaked by the darkness I watched from afar,
As the moon lit your now softened features.
Your past filled with horror left many scars,
From your battle with all of God's creatures.
I feel the emotion filling the room,
As you gaze upon the violet eyed one.
Who's past carries equal amount of gloom,
But hides behind smiles, laughter and fun.
He sleeps unaware of your affection,
That has penetrated your long dead soul.
I never thought you'd make a connection,
After the training that gave you control.
Something has melted your heart's icy shell,
Now may it learn what other's know so well.
